Friday, October 29, 2010. Getting bucked, and trying a lope. Last month, riding Shiloh. Today when I went to Claudia's house, I rode Shiloh, her beautiful flea-bitten gray fifteen year old Quarter Horse gelding. His feet hurt him, so she put his special boots on. We tried a lope (it's a little slower than a canter). He protested with me, bumping his hindquarters up. Claudia got him going at a lope, and then he bumped his hindquarters up because his feet hurt. Wednesday, February 9, 2011. Twenty inches of snow! I have NEVER in my ENTIRE LIFE ever seen THIS MUCH SNOW! My dad pointed out that if we put Oliver out there, he wouldn't even be able to walk! The snow is all the way up our fence, and over my dad's bumper on his car! I got up at about six to get some water. When I looked outside, I thought, "Wow! Sunday, February 6, 2011. We got a new cat about a month or so ago. She's absolutely perfect! My mom went to the store, got food and a food and water tray, and got her a litter box and a little home. We named her Chloe. She's a tiger cat, and she's full grown. She isn't declawed or fixed, but we're going to get her fixed as soon as we can. Saturday, October 9, 2010. I got my hair cut! I got my hair cut! It looks nice now, and it's really short. The reason I got it cut is because I was hot, and because I wanted to see how it looked. My mom said I looked older. She really likes it, and so do I. It looks so.neat. But it feels weird to put my hand on my neck and feel that nothing is there. Wednesday, July 13, 2011. My birthday coming up. I'm going to be twelve on July 17th! What's awesome is, my brothers are counting down the days to my birthday. Oliver spent an hour coloring a horse picture for me! And Trevor made me some presents. They're really sweet brothers. My grandma bought me a breyer horse saddle I'd been wanting. Wednesday, May 16, 2012. I started horseback riding lessons again with Claudia Lasater. We had to stop earlier because of my horse allergies. But I take Claritin now and I’m all right. I started riding Shiloh, the little gray Quarter horse gelding she has, but yesterday she decided to put me up on her big paint, Johnny Rebel, bareback! Wednesday, August 25, 2010. Ethan is nine #2. I'll tell you about our visit to me grandma and grandpa. It was nice. My grandma (I call her "Noni") made Angel Food Cake and two kinds of cup cakes. Ethan decorated the cupcakes. Yum. It was pretty good food. We sang happy birthday to Ethan and let him blow out his candle.
