Most clients naturally feel comfortable with animals and have positive feelings when in an animal’s presence. This makes the counseling process more positive and enjoyable for clients. They look forward to seeing their animal co-therapist each week. We have found that when an animal is present people are able to focus more on relevant issues in the present, rather than on the anger of the past or fears of the future. You never know what to expect at barn group. In this case it was a game which involved dumping messy things on Linda’s head. Thanks to Jen and Micah who came and helped get Percy Pig back in his pen and secure the fence. You just never know what to expect here at Isaiah 11. My Journey to Colombia. It s so incredible to be back here in Colombia! After church I was able to go out to lunch with Tito and Yilmar. It was so good to hang out with them and catch up on what is going on in their lives. It was also fun to see how far Yilmar has progressed in his English.
