Isaiah 55:8-9: July 2015

http://isaiahfiftyfive.blogspot.com/2015_07_01_archive.html

Tuesday, July 7, 2015. I'm linking up with Kendra. I always enjoy reading her posts and figured it was time to join in. :). 1 How did you celebrate the 4th of July? We celebrated by heading over to my aunt's house for their neighborhood parade (it's small, but includes fire trucks, police cars, etc.) We munched on raisin or chocolate banana bread and then enjoyed a nice BBQ. I love hot dogs and burgers! Some pics of the weekend:. Enjoy it while it lasts kiddos, mama is allergic. 2 Do you sunburn easily?

Wednesday, December 31, 2014. 2014 Review in Photos. What a fantastic year 2014 has been! I thought it would be fun to take a trip down memory lane! We learned how to bake cookies! C had fun shoveling snow. And was definitely a heart breaker for Valentine's Day! C decided eating snow was more fun than shoveling,. And still loves to receive many kisses due to this shirt! Oh, and we heard that we had been chosen to be parents for a sweet baby girl due in May! No photo for that. just the memory! And 24 hour...

Isaiah 55:8-9: October 2014

http://isaiahfiftyfive.blogspot.com/2014_10_01_archive.html

Monday, October 27, 2014. October Fun - 2.5 and 6 months! It's so hard to believe, but our sweet girl is 6 months as of Saturday! She is such an amazing baby - she's calm and rarely fussy except when she's hungry and we're not moving fast enough to get the bottle, and if she's tired or has a messy diaper. Other than that, she's very low-key. He keeps poking at her cheeks to "help her smile". C often asks to hold G. It's so sweet. And he never wants to let her go! He cracks me up :). She loves to lay on h...

Isaiah 55:8-9: C & G's Birthday Recap

http://isaiahfiftyfive.blogspot.com/2015/05/c-gs-birthday-recap.html

Wednesday, May 13, 2015. C and G's Birthday Recap. I had intended to publish this in April. C is crazy about helicopters- a helicopter was the only thing he wanted for his birthday! On his actual birthday, we just had a nice dinner and he got to open his present! I made Creme Caramel since I was waiting for the party to make his cake. It was a winner! Blue for C and pink for G! G with her Memere and Grandma. We were so glad to have DH's mom here (left) who has been in CA since last July helping. Why are ...

I must have prayed for patience: February 2013

I must have prayed for patience. My journey through infertility and hopefully, one day, motherhood. My infertility struggle timeline. Thursday, February 28, 2013. Today we are orphaned. Friday, February 15, 2013. This week I received a letter in the mail from a fertility center that we once sought treatment from (where they told us we had a 3% chance of ever having a baby unless we did IVF and ICSI), urging us to oppose the Sanctity of Human Life Act. Can you believe that? Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).

I must have prayed for patience. My journey through infertility and hopefully, one day, motherhood. My infertility struggle timeline. Tuesday, July 23, 2013. Lots and lots of things happening over the past few months. He's sitting, scooting backwards, and is working on getting four teeth. He also just started sleeping better! It's like a switch flipped just as soon as he hit 8 months (on July 19). It's like he just decided, yep, I'll sleep a little bit now. Thank the Lord! It is awesome to sleep! 7 Quick...

Writing: A necessity for joy | Matching Moonheads

https://matchingmoonheads.wordpress.com/2014/03/26/writing-a-necessity-for-joy

Little bits about life in our real world. Our (East Coast) garden. Trash can flowers →. Writing: A necessity for joy. March 26, 2014. I wrote a few weeks back about my resolution to seek and fight for joy in my life. I’m generally consider myself an optimistic person, but I can really be plagued with moments of extreme doubt. Paralyzed almost. And if I’m not careful, these moments can stretch longer, and have a much greater effect on everything around me. It should be something that helps you be. Because...

Little bits about life in our real world. Have you started your seeds yet? Our (East Coast) garden →. The funk of not creating and the Age of Information Overload. March 3, 2014. I don’t want to just consume, I want to create. I want to bring something of my own to the table. To me, this is the Age of Information Overload. Without getting into a full blown discussion on the merits of stay-at-home vs. work outside the home moms (just yet! This entry was posted in Uncategorized. 4 thoughts on “ The f...

Little bits about life in our real world. I largely discuss Natural Family Planning (NFP) and NFP related issues in this blog. I do this mostly because learning about NFP changed my outlook on life so drastically, I feel indebted to share what I’ve learned with others. I also find NFP related issues so interesting that I want read and learn as much as I can for my own sake. Here’s a collection of posts I believe most directly address NFP issues. NFP sounds just like contraception…. Enter your comment here.

A lot can grow in a week | Matching Moonheads

https://matchingmoonheads.wordpress.com/2014/05/27/a-lot-can-grow-in-a-week

Little bits about life in our real world. Sub-fertility and (slowly) learning to embrace my square peg. Thankful – 5/29/2014 →. A lot can grow in a week. May 27, 2014. You know you have a gardening problem when the first thing you do upon arriving at your house after a week away is to run to the backyard and see how your garden is doing! So much can change in a week! Hopefully the labeling will help me remember what’s what! Stark contrast to what it was a few weeks ago. So I went on a rampage to get rid ...

He is exactly the same. | Matching Moonheads

https://matchingmoonheads.wordpress.com/2014/11/30/he-is-exactly-the-same

Little bits about life in our real world. A fall garden attempt and a year! A completely frivolous post about hair →. He is exactly the same. November 30, 2014. Everything is exactly the same as it was yesterday. Nothing has changed. Yesterday there was incredible hope. I was. Except, it turned out I wasn’t. Not in that way, at least, the way I was dreaming about. Today things are exactly the same. And I am blessed beyond measure. God is exactly who He was yesterday. He loves me beyond measure. I must have prayed for patience. My journey through infertility and hopefully, one day, motherhood. My infertility struggle timeline. Wednesday, December 26, 2012. Now that he's home, he is so much more like himself and is doing great. It feels even more fantastic to hold my sweet baby; no wires, no beeping machines, no nasal canulas. Just a sweet baby in a cheesy "my first Christmas" fleece sleep n play. The best Christmas present ever! Monday, December 24, 2012. Still stuck in isolation. Pray, Hope, Do...

Life as I see it. Thursday, May 7, 2009. When my Grandpa Ken and Grandma Marlene came to visit, we rode our bikes to the pier in the next town. We went for a nice walk along the pier which is a big peninsula with water on both sides - I LOVE water and it had just rained so I got to splash in all the puddles! And of course, pick up a few big sticks along the way. 3 Generations of Blocks. On our way back home.I've got my apple and I'm ready to ride! Thursday, May 07, 2009. Saturday, April 25, 2009. Isaiah 46:4 - Even to your old age and gray hairs I am he, I am he who will sustain you. I have made you and I will carry you; I will sustain you and I will rescue you.

Even to your old age and gray hairs I am he, I am he who will sustain you. I have made you and I will carry you; I will sustain you and I will rescue you. Irrational Argument of a Health-N-Wealther. 30 June, 2015. My MIL and I got into a discussion today about the fact that I am now pregnant and this was after I’d said that I didn’t want any more children. She made the comment that I obviously wasn’t trying too hard to stop it. The conversation ensued (basically) as follows:. But it’s your choice! When I...
