The musings of my fragile little mind. Saturday, July 24, 2010. Today Albert, Kai, Yoshie and I distributed about 900 fliers for the VBS program. The neighborhood we went to is about two stations away on the mono-rail. The church in Tachikawa is hoping to start a new church there in the next couple years. The musings of my fragile little mind. Tuesday, July 21, 2009. Arrival and First Day. I have arrived safely in Japan on Monday evening. For those of you who do not know, Japan is 16 hours ahead of California, so I am writing from the future. Surprisingly the temperature is cooler hear than it was in LA. God has been very merciful to me for I have a severe allergic reaction to heat - it makes me sweat. You have my prayers. July 22, 2009 at 11:56 PM. When do we get another update with pictures. =).

One of the students who was already Christian decided that he wanted to help work at the camp when he graduates high school. Once a year the church has a cleaning day, and somehow or another they always seem to have this day when we are here, so after the camp planing we joined the church members in giving the facilities a detox. Wednesday, August 6, 2008. Well me made it home everyone! Frank and I left Japan at around 7pm on August 5th and landed around 1:15pm August 5th in the L.A. Cool how that works, we gained a lot of time and had the whole afternoon and evening to adjust. Thursday, July 31, 2008. Morning Everyone, or should I say Good Night? I was really proud of them as we've struggled winning games since my kids are so young! But it's amazing to see them speak in two different languages when they're still learning to talk and write! It was wonderful. Check out the dishes in the pictures. One dish was potatoey with beef, then there was fish from Hokaido, rise, fermented soy beans, tomatoes and other dishes. It was very good. Jiyamatane (see you later). First 2 Days of VBS.
