The style of this photograph is very expressive which can show a lot of emotion for instance the artist could of taken this picture so they can react a certain way. There is a narrative in the photograph maybe Arbus was trying to tell the viewer that this kid was suffering from a disease and needs help or is crazy from so many wars that had happened such as WW I and 2 and Vietnam.
