FlightXtreme - Virtual Aerobatics:
http://www.flightxtreme.com/introduction.htm
An Introduction to Myself. Hi everyone, my name is Michael Garbers. I started the flightXtreme site a couple of years ago, after getting bored of the usual FMC programming and sight-seeing flights. A lot has happened in that time: I have now held ten Virtual Aerobatics Championships, written articles about virtual aerobatics for the Austrian flight simulation magazine FlightXPress. And have been in contact with the real aerobatic pilots throught German Aerobatics. A guide to the topics. This section cont...

Dear virtual pilots, due to time problems and a slight shift of the priorities of my interests I will close this page. You can still stay in contact on facebook mentioned further down, but there will be no more VWAC organized by me. I like to thank all the people being part of this very small community and send greatings to all the different regions in the world. It was a lot of fun. What will happen with this Domain? When this will happen? I don't known yet. All the best, Micha. Teaser: VWAC 2006 Video.

FlightXtreme - Virtual Aerobatics:
http://www.flightxtreme.com/rules.htm
Official rules from the Fédération Aéronautique International. My intention is to stay as close as possible to the real international rules for aerobatic competition. Naturally, we have to make some compromises, but in general we stick very close to the real-life rules. The current official versions of the rules you can find at the FAI. Since everything is covered in these rules, keep in mind what you will need as a pilot to compete in a virtual competition. For example you do not need.

FlightXtreme - Virtual Aerobatics:
http://www.flightxtreme.com/training.htm
The most important thing is practice. Start with small steps - don't try to do everything at once. Start with some simple figures, then design and try out some short sequences. Once you're comfortable with flying them, try to fly them inside the aerobatic box. Then you can start to increase the complexity of your figures and introduce some longer sequences. Always check your flight from the tower view in replay. This is the way that the judges will look at your flight.
