Monday, August 30, 2010. Summer's Over.or. TWITCH. Summer is officially over, although the weather doesn't understand that. I always feel bad for the Elementary kid having to go outside to play for recess. Fortunately the climbing toys are shaded, but it's still hot. Friday, January 29, 2010. LAVA MONSTER.or.why I love kids! I have the funnest and funniest kids EVER . Last night the girls were playing 'lava monster' and made trails all through the house of safe islands to effectively avoid the carpet-living lava monster while they played 'escaping from the lava monster' with a Mom and Dad rescuing their babies from a fiery death. I LOVED to watch this because 'lava monster' was one of my ALL TIME FAVORITE games when I was a kid. The four silliest girls in the world.

I'm not sure it has some deep profound meaning, but it occurred to me that I needed to record it, so that one day, when she no longer "dreams" of ducks every night, I will remember her little voice talking about her "Mommy duck and Daddy duck and Baby duck." Can someone find me a vault so I can keep the time in it and release it a little more slowly this year? My little Jessie is now almost 15 months old. She walks everywhere she can. Or should I say run? Her little waddle run is the cutest thing to watch. I wish you could all see it. She is also quite the climber. Right now, she has a set of 6 teeth.
