Tuesday, June 29, 2010. Her birthday cake was just delicious! As usual we all ate far to much so Monday was a lighter meal day to try and even things out a bit. To cap off her birthday we are going to a sneak preview of the new Twilight movie tonight. We have sneaky peek tickets for the 9 o'clock showing. Looks like it will be a late night for us. It wasn't all play and no work while she was here. We made up several batches of our whipped soap. I just love taking a bath with this! Links to this post.

Monday, March 21, 2011. At last I can now sit comfortably once again at the computer and do a blog post. I am so happy that my back is now back to normal. Thank you for all your good thoughts. They were much appreciated. I spent the weekend with my daughter again making soapy things but on returning home, look what was waiting for me. This lovely book that I had ordered. I had actually forgotten that it was coming. What lovely cute things there are to knit and crochet. I am super pleased that I ordered it.

Wednesday, August 25, 2010. Just thought I would pop in and show you my wonderful goodies that I received today from the lovely Pat who has a blog called The Sewing Room. I was simply overwhelmed with her generosity. Pat and I were swap partners from a swap over at Lisa's blog. All the little packages were beautifully wrapped and came with a very lovely card. The first thing that I unwrapped was this great apron. It was so expertly sewn and I am just thrilled that it is mine! Yes there is still more!

Tuesday, February 15, 2011. Wishing there was two of me! One of the things that I miss doing at the weekend is walking with hubby. I miss seeing all those wonderful birds and animals as well as walking in that great fresh air. Last weekend he went for a walk and took some lovely photo's. So thank goodness at least I have those to enjoy. This little shore bird is a Greater Yellowlegs. Pretty good name I think!
