How did the 'i share the road' campaign come about? A friend of James Schwartz from The Urban Country. Expressed his interest in showing his support for cyclists on the streets by putting a sticker on his car. James thought this was a great idea and launched a design contest to search for an 'i share the road' logo. I share the road' financials. The 'i share the road' campaign was initially funded by founder James Schwartz. To become a sustainable, on-going campaign we are generating revenue from donations. We believe in being 100% transparent with our financials so we are providing detailed financial information on this page. Financials as at August 15, 2016 (all prices in Canadian Dollars).
