Saturday, November 8, 2008. Okay everybody, I know it has been a really long time since I have updated my blog but I'm finally getting around to it. Work has been really busy and it is starting to settle into a steady pace. The weather has been fanstastic here! It changes a lot! Here I am, stuck in the middle with me. Friday, September 30, 2011. Overheard on the street this morning. A woman in the crosswalk telling her dog that "traffic is not funny.". Here I am, stuck in the middle with me. Saturday, January 30, 2010. January 29th is a good day. Though I've always been fond of Kansas Day, I've celebrated it with much more gusto since moving away from the Sunflower State. And I always like to find a good reason to celebrate. And then the borders expanded into the surrounding states as they baked. I guess it's the thought that counts. By the end of the night I was reminded about why I should wear an apron when I bake. Happy Kansas Day, Everyone!

Here I am, stuck in the middle with me. Tuesday, September 20, 2011. I like this building on the corner of Bowery and 3rd Street. It's difficult to see the terraces on the different levels, but from the ground they appear to be beautiful and full of greenery. Not all portions of the East Village. Are quite as desirable, however, even just down the block. But don't focus on the trash cans in the following picture. Let's get a close-up on one of those signs, shall we? That are less than desirable.

Here I am, stuck in the middle with me. Monday, October 25, 2010. Not long ago, a car crashed into Pastel, the nail salon across the street from my office. I heard the first bump and thought "fender bender". Then we all heard the loud crash. Some passersby helped the driver walk from the car and when the emergency crews got there they put her on a brace and loaded her into an ambulance. She was obviously very shaken up. Monday, October 20, 2008. I love Fall for many reasons! We had some very interesting and entertaining people around us. About 5 rows down from us was a gang of middle aged people. They had one leader (note the picture)who would jump up during all breaks in the game and lead them in a very heart-felt cheer. They were awesome!
