Nestled in the heart of the Mary Valley, Imbil is the largest of the original timber towns. Island Reach is just a short 600-metre stroll to town that offers a hotel, bowls club, two café's, post office, butchers and a grocery store. On Sundays the town comes alive with the Imbil country markets and a visit from the historic Mary Valley Rattler (steam train), which also comes on Wednesdays. Island Reach Camping Resort 2016.
