The following respite programs are funded by the regional center for children and adults who have developmental disabilities:. Tri-Counties Regional Center and North Los Angeles Regional Centers contract with CISS to provide in-home respite care to families caring for a child or an adult relative with special needs (defined specifically as a developmental disability such as Autism, Down Syndrome, Intellectual Disability or Cerebral Palsy.). Private Pay Respite | Channel Islands Social Services

If your family is not eligible for Regional Center or County-funded respite services and you would like our help to recruit a caregiver, please contact us. For a flat fee, we will work with you to identify the type of caregiver you need, and then help you find someone to meet your needs. It is up to the family to pay the person directly for all care provided after the CISS referral is made. If you are looking for home care for seniors, contact the Ventura County Area Agency on Aging.
