Isla and Marks South American Trip. Saturday, April 17, 2010. Adios Amigos and Hasta Luego Americas. Our last full day in Vancouver, and I felt quite sad really. Knowing we would soon be leaving Mark and Craig, and that our 8 week adventure was coming to a close. Still we managed to squeeze in some more Friday fun stuff. Craig kept me company for the 9km loop of Stanley Park for my morning run - we got the bus there and back, as we thought 18km trot out might be a bit of a stretch after another night out!

Our walk for today took us out along the northern shore of downtown, passing the Olympic torch before a raft of sea planes bobbing in the water, through coal harbour to Stanley Park. The perimeter circuit of SP is busy with joggers and cyclists on their segregated pathways, and handily marked in km and miles. Like for The Gilbertsons. Near Siwash Rock, the backwash of the water captured the light in bows. pretty.
