It was a fun first couple days filled with Corporate niceness as only Disney could deliver. We had a day of orientation complete with a free lunch. Tuesday, March 13, 2012. John Carter Wraps and Premiere. John Carter is complete and finally out. As the film is what brought me to London, it will always mean something to me. I'm proud of the effects in it. I think we did a good job. We had a cool wrap party in the main hall of the London Natural History Museum. It is a beautiful venue for an event like this. Sunday, February 24, 2013. Ireland - Dublin - The Quick Tour. We basically had 1 solid day in Dublin, so we hit most of the sites with the exception of the Guiness Storehouse in that one day. Dublin is a beautiful old city filled with history and all of the major sites are situated on a big traffic loop serviced by a tourist "Hop On/Hop Off" bus. Sunday, June 17, 2012. Budapest - St. Stephen's Basilica. St Stephen's Basilica is a beautiful large cathedral that Hungarian's take great pride in. It is named for St. Stephen who as king, brough Christianity to the Magyar People. It is a real jewelbox with a beautiful altar. And a magnificent dome. It isn't the largest church I've visited in Europe, but it is a beautiful tasteful and impressive church. And in a small reliquary that you pay to have a light illuminate.
