http://blurduo.blogspot.com/2009_02_01_archive.html
Eeps and Weexy's Journal. Wednesday, February 25, 2009. Water use up in dry spell. Wed, Feb 25, 2009. The recent weeks of hot and dry weather have seen Singaporeans using more water. 16 Olympic-sized swimming pools more, to be exact. With temperatures hitting 34 deg C last week, the daily potable water consumption rose to a high of 1.4 million cubic metre a day, which is 3 per cent more than the average daily consumption. Water Supply Network urged Singaporeans to save water. It seems like AsiaOne. Sunda...

Eeps and Weexy's Journal: Olympic Air and Expedia - BLACKLIST
http://blurduo.blogspot.com/2010/04/olympic-air-and-expedia-blacklist.html
Eeps and Weexy's Journal. Tuesday, April 27, 2010. Olympic Air and Expedia - BLACKLIST. A couple of companies have just made it to my blacklist again. Following the recent volcanic ash fiasco over Europe, many travel companies are getting the hit from flight/accommodation rebooking and cancellations. Without any success. However I was able to get through to their Sales within a minute and each time was told that they couldn't help me and Customer Service, which is the only department that can help, i...

Eeps and Weexy's Journal: Another year...
http://blurduo.blogspot.com/2009/11/another-year.html
Eeps and Weexy's Journal. Sunday, November 29, 2009. So there goes another year, another tick on the box. So the thirties don't exactly feel that bad. As usual I had a quiet one. No fancy dinner or party but simple fare at Satay House, just off Edgware. Road The continual rain doesn't help the mood. So what has happened in the one year since it went from 0 to 1. Married. Graduated. Moved. Many more things could have happened. Regrettably. Cheers to being 21 again. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).

http://blurduo.blogspot.com/2009_07_01_archive.html
Eeps and Weexy's Journal. Sunday, July 05, 2009. You name it, We will try to find it. It is amazing to see how expensive bags are going in Singapore, especially that of branded bags from LV, Gucci to the likes of Longchamp. So instead of purchasing your wallets and missing out the weakness in the euro and sterling, my good wife has thought of a special service. Give us a shout and see if you can save those hard-earned pennies! Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). View my complete profile. On the Mark 2046.

Eeps and Weexy's Journal: October 2009
http://blurduo.blogspot.com/2009_10_01_archive.html
Eeps and Weexy's Journal. Sunday, October 25, 2009. The last of our summer guests have just left London. We had a number of visitors from Singapore since we moved to our new place. Jeremy and Rachel were our 8 th. At 315 in just less than five months. Guests filled the house with buzz and noise, which is good at times given how Canary Wharf's quietness and our many friends who have since returned to Singapore for good. Of coz. So we are almost done for the year. Andy and Lian Hong. Xueyan's - Teryiaki fr...

Eeps and Weexy's Journal: Tea @ Ritz
http://blurduo.blogspot.com/2010/04/tea-ritz.html
Eeps and Weexy's Journal. Friday, April 23, 2010. In Singapore, we are all too familiar with high tea - a term that suggests a session more than just hot water and tea leaves. In the UK, we have something similar (or its original) known simply as afternoon tea. Unlike the Singapore version which is more of a gastronomical feast, afternoon tea in the UK is a time-honoured tradition treated with much more reverence. Nonetheless, such attire makes the event more special. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).

Fun & Laughter, Peace & Joy: June 2011
http://happystella1706.blogspot.com/2011_06_01_archive.html
Monday, June 27, 2011. A week after the arrival of my maid, the saga continues. It was Sat morning. I spotted ants crawling in the top drawer of my kitchen cabinet and upon closer scrutiny, there were even more ants in the drawer below. When I opened the drawer, there were ants congregating around a brown spot on the lid of my nutella jar. Neither my hubby nor myself had recently eaten nutella and my in-laws do not consume nutella. So the culprit needs no guessing. Labels: Penny for Thots. 3rd employer:...

Fun & Laughter, Peace & Joy: August 2011
http://happystella1706.blogspot.com/2011_08_01_archive.html
Monday, August 29, 2011. A person's outfit and accessories can give great insights to a person's personality. For instance, I can usually tell whether a person loves dressing up from her choice of footwear. The more practical ladies are usually in pumps or flats, whereas the fashionistas can be found in towering stilettos suitable only for the runway and nowhere else. I was extremely thrilled with my purchase of 2 pairs of gorgeous shoes. But my excitement turned into frustration within an hour my fe...

Fun & Laughter, Peace & Joy: January 2012
http://happystella1706.blogspot.com/2012_01_01_archive.html
Monday, January 16, 2012. Hiring maids has given me reasons to write about them. I have now employed my 4th maid, and she has given me good enough reasons to attribute a blogpost to her. I wonder if her boldness is common for Filipino maids as she gets advice from her experienced relatives. She is on the phone with them almost every other evening.so maybe they taught her how to deceive her employer. Or maybe it is just her greedy nature. When my mum-in-law unexpectedly returned home one day, she caught m...

Fun & Laughter, Peace & Joy: November 2013
http://happystella1706.blogspot.com/2013_11_01_archive.html
Wednesday, November 13, 2013. The past few days seemed to pass by in a blur, yet so much has happened. I am physically exhausted, but I also feel emotionally recharged to be a better person. To be someone with a big heart - like my Dad. Also thanks to everyone who took time from their busy schedule to attend the wake, friends who kept me in their prayers, and everyone who expressed their care and concern in one way or another. Friendship is an invaluable gift I treasure. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).
