a father's journal: Snow Day!
http://fathersjournalbyjeff.blogspot.com/2008/12/snow-day.html
A collection of thoughts and stories about my children and about being their father. Monday, December 22, 2008. This is the grill that I cooked dinner on last night. You can see that we got about 8 more inches after that. The pile of snow on my car. That's not coming. Out of there anytime soon. Ben is getting a ride in his "One horse open sleigh". Or in this case, "One daddy open tarp". When you don't have a sled you have to make do. The snow got in poor Kyle's eyes when he fell. Linked to me . I'm a fat...

a father's journal: Overwhelmed but excited
http://fathersjournalbyjeff.blogspot.com/2009/01/overwhelmed-but-excited.html
A collection of thoughts and stories about my children and about being their father. Friday, January 16, 2009. If you've been keeping up with the saga of our changing lives lately, you probably have an inkling of the reason for my feeling overwhelmed. And it hit like a ton of bricks this afternoon around 5 pm. Why 5 pm you say? So last week we met with the agent and talked to him about what we're looking for and what we need to do to sell our house. Today he was back and the ball is rolling. I just can't...

a father's journal: July 2008
http://fathersjournalbyjeff.blogspot.com/2008_07_01_archive.html
A collection of thoughts and stories about my children and about being their father. Thursday, July 31, 2008. My Little Angels (of Chaos). Don't they all look so sweet? It's so much fun to be a dad to three boys. Ben and Kyle are so adorable cuddled up under their fuzzy blanket on the futon. They really are sweet boys. Especially to their younger brother. This little 4 month old cutie is rarely at a lack for attention. Ben just loves to dote on him, often a. But, I guess as they say, "boys will be boys!

A collection of thoughts and stories about my children and about being their father. Saturday, March 14, 2009. It's fun making butter. I've even figured out how to make sticks of butter out of it. Your butter is b-utterly beautiful! MMMMMM, looks good. I'll bet you used a Dazey Churn! Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). People's Blogs I Read. Searching for God in the Everyday. a father's journal: September 2008
http://fathersjournalbyjeff.blogspot.com/2008_09_01_archive.html
A collection of thoughts and stories about my children and about being their father. Friday, September 26, 2008. Well, it's happened! Kyle turned 3 today! 5:15 this morning to be precise and thankfully he was still asleep! I wish I had been, but oh well. Kyle is such a joy and a challenge for us. He is big-hearted and passionate. He knows what he wants and is VERY. And he's starting to use grown-up phrases! What will the next year bring? More growing up I'm sure, which is joyful and sad at the same time.

a father's journal: Yes I'm still alive... And loving it!
http://fathersjournalbyjeff.blogspot.com/2009/02/yes-im-still-alive-and-loving-it.html
A collection of thoughts and stories about my children and about being their father. Thursday, February 12, 2009. Yes I'm still alive. And loving it! Well, it's been awhile and I don't really have any legitimate excuse. But I will say this. God is Good. With A Capital G! Besides letting all two of my readers know that I'm still alive, I wanted to share a little about what's been on my heart lately. I was in hearty agreement with all those folks who rejoiced at being done with diapers, and was counting...

a father's journal: June 2007
http://fathersjournalbyjeff.blogspot.com/2007_06_01_archive.html
A collection of thoughts and stories about my children and about being their father. Tuesday, June 19, 2007. It's so much fun and a little scary to start hearing grown-up phrases coming out of your 4 year-olds mouth. Last weekend, Ben and Kyle were arguing about who was going to get to use the car out in the back yard. Eventually they both ended up in it with Kyle on Ben's lap. This didn't last for too long before Ben started complaining that he couldn't steer or move the car with Kyle in his lap. HowStu...
