Late summer usually brings salmon returning home to spawn in Issaquah Creek, often visible from the mouth of the creek at the end of the boardwalk at Lake Sammamish State Park. Venues - Friends of Lake Sammamish State Park Website. In the future we will be expanding our webpage on the venues to provide more sites, information and locations. The Creek shelter, near the banks of Issaquah Creek, accommodates up to 200 people. It offers an excellent view of Lake Sammamish.
