When I write about myself on this blog, I find it difficult to figure out how to articulate certain things. How do I say it was really hard, while making it clear I understand that the fact that I was living in London with an MA is a certain privilege? Most importantly, how do not sound like this is a ‘just work hard and you’ll get what you want’ story? I am in London, England.

But here they are, some of the sweetest I've written in long time: I GOT A JOB IN LONDON. I will have much more to report once I actually start the job. Graham turned 6 months this week which means Wade also had a half birthday this week, on October 8. Wade shared doctor's appointments with Graham last week. We talked about potty training, something we've dabbled in but plan to try officially soon. We also discuss sleeping, eating, and talking and we're feeling fairly comfortable with his development in these areas. He can draw a circle.

We went to Indianapolis for the weekend to see the Emsleys and to celebrate Aunt Chris's 40th birthday. On Saturday morning while the Emsleys were busy with basketball, Ryan, Wade and I headed to the Indianapolis Children's Museum. It was similar to the St. Louis Magic House and Wade had fun playing in the toddler area. All that fun was exhausting! Happy Birthday, Chris! Last day of Vacation!

For the first time we carved pumpkins with him, rather than after he went to bed. He was very into the pumpkins at the time, though he has kind of forgotten about them now.
