Sverige skulle deltaga i en internationell övning i Italien, som en del i den inriktning vårat försvar nu skall ha som internationellt insatsförband. I månader hade man förberett sig, men Regeringen beslutade att försvaret skulle dra sig ur i elfte timmen pga. att Israel medverkade. Svensk familjerätt skall anpassas till Islam. Imamer skall godkänna skilsmässor.

I valrörelsen hade socialdemokraterna räknat ut att en 18-årig, studerande småbarnsförälder med egen bil och studiebidrag förlorade på den borgerliga politiken.
