It is actually a motel. I had always passed by on trips admiring it's large outer walls and towers, it's flags waving in front of the entrance. I was very impressed by this structure. One Thursday on the trip towards Fto. I passed by and the large door of the front right wall was open, revealing the contents of the castle.

For the last 3 years I've attended the TAPS National Seminar in Washington D.C. over Memorial Day Weekend, which is consequently the same time that John passed away. It has been a really great tradition, and I've always gotten so much out of it. The people I meet are wonderful, the classes are helpful, the food amazing, and the activities super fun. I can't believe my little guy is two already! I threw him a little birthday party and just invited the family. I put up streamers, made this sign, and fed everyone dinner.
