As a child, I became a Christian who was tucked nicely into a safe bubble. Now that I am older I'm able to see, more clearly, the world around me and outside of my safe bubble. I stand amazed at how God fills it up, day by day, and reveals Himself to me through the beauty of this world and all of it's ugly, too.

Monday, March 26, 2012. Spontaneity, you fine splendor, you! We woke up in the early hours of Saturday with knowledge of the fact that the forecast called for yet another lovely day. It didn't take long to plan a spontaneous road trip to one of our favorite spots on our state's map. Dauset Trails! I've got my work cut out for me. An hour and a half on the road. And we made it! Between the gardens, the animals, the farm, the lake, the trees, the beautiful trails, the butterflies.that place is magical!

Wednesday, November 2, 2011. Chase made All-State Chorus! My next big news today is that Chase made All-State Chorus! This is quite an accomplishment and Tommy and I are so proud of her! Chase had All-State Auditions back on October 15, 2011 and we just found out the results today, and she made it! This is a huge honor, this chorus is made up of high school chorus students all across the state of Georgia, so as you can imagine only a select few from each school are chosen! We are so excited for her!

Tuesday, July 5, 2011. We enjoyed a fun 4th at Newnan High School for the fireworks! We met up with some friends from church. Isiah and his American Bald Eagle Face painting!
