Sophia's Monde: April 2008
http://sophiasmonde.blogspot.com/2008_04_01_archive.html
Wednesday, April 30, 2008. Vienna, Budapest, and Prague. I had been to Vienna once before, with Jess in February of 2006, so I can't say we did much sight-seeing in the two days I was there. We checked out a market which was great, walked a bit around the city, drank delicious Viennese coffee, and went out with her friends. Look what I found! Recap of Tübingen and Coucy-le-Chateau to come soon! Sunday, April 20, 2008. And finally, after all this time, I have a video of Magnus dancing:. It is also nearing...

Sophia's Monde: September 2007
http://sophiasmonde.blogspot.com/2007_09_01_archive.html
Sunday, September 30, 2007. Living in France has certainly given me patience. During this weekend, I have managed to acquire a lamp for my room, as well as a basket for my mounds of asthma/allergy medications, and the heater in my room has started to cooperate! This was very exciting. Unfortunately, the stove and oven in our kitchen are still not cooperating. Neither is my internet, which is why I still have close to 200 pictures waiting on my camera to be posted for all my avid readers to see! Are appar...

Sophia's Monde: October 2007
http://sophiasmonde.blogspot.com/2007_10_01_archive.html
Wednesday, October 24, 2007. Baguette eating on-the-go is really dangerous. Yesterday after class I stopped by a boulangerie to grab some bread for lunch and once I ripped off one hunk I lost control and ended up eating at least half of the thing. As soon as I had it in my hands I could tell it was all nice and warm from the oven and I couldn't help myself! Exercise was to check my heart rate. My first vacation period officially starts at 4:30 today! Tuesday, October 23, 2007. For example, while I am her.

Sunday, December 23, 2007. A Vegetarian Swiss Christmas. When I got off the train in Lausanne I hopped off with my suitcase and a couple nearby railroad workers chuckled and said. And Happy Birthday Celina! Tuesday, December 18, 2007. À bientôt, Steffi! Dancing at the party:. Afterwards, tired. well I was, anyway:. The next day was Steffi's last day, so we went with her to a nearby beach called Ploumanac'h which lies on the. Famous lighthouse of Ploumanac'h:. I have seen many beautiful beaches in my day,...

http://sophiasmonde.blogspot.com/2008/05/april-vacation-part-ii.html
Sunday, May 4, 2008. April Vacation Part II. After my Eastern Europe extravaganza with Jess, I flew over to Stuttgart. I already wrote a bit about Tübingen, so in an effort not to be too redundant and not to waste any of my remaining time in this country (of which there is precious little- 4 days and counting), here are the rest of my pictures from the trip. Ellen and I before hitting the town (which means taking the bus to El Chico):. The original 4 at El Chico:. Sushi dinner in Reutlingen:.

Sophia's Monde: May 2008
http://sophiasmonde.blogspot.com/2008_05_01_archive.html
Tuesday, May 13, 2008. I'm back in the United States as of last Thursday, and before leaving for Israel this Thursday I wanted to write one final entry to round off this blog. If I make it back to Europe (either for an internship or grad school) I may very well start up a new one, but for now it is time for Sophia's Monde. To come to a close and for Sophia's Normal World to resume, though what that world is at the moment is a bit unclear. Monday nights were always our big dinner party nights because Celi...

Sophia's Monde: November 2007

Wednesday, November 28, 2007. This weekend Lauren was in Tokyo and I was petting farm animals. Erwan opening one of the rabbit cages:. Rabbit with a beard! Petting Erwan's cat, Minouche (I probably have the spelling wrong here). She has an injured paw so she kind of hops around but she is very comfortable with all the other animals, even Erwan's dog Bingo who licks her a lot:. Tuesday, November 27, 2007. Strikes, Protests, and Riots. oh my! I went over the vocabulary related to strikes, protests and riot...
