ChiTown Girl: Bear Tie Ball
http://iteachkdg.blogspot.com/2015/03/bear-tie-ball.html
All children are gifted. Some just open their presents later than others." - -unknown. Monday, March 2, 2015. Last week, Magnum told me that, thanks to a case he has been working, we were going to be attending a black tie event. It was called the Bear Tie Ball. It is an annual event for the Bear Necessities Pediatric Cancer Foundation. We had such a wonderful evening! Which we would never be able to afford on our own. Thank you, Crazy Client, for funding our awesome night! Check out Magnum's shoes! We ha...

All children are gifted. Some just open their presents later than others." - -unknown. Tuesday, March 10, 2015. Reason #937 Why I love Chicago. I am in my car, driving home from dropping off my Monkey. My car says it is currently 58° outside. We are having a bit of a "heat wave" this week here in Chitown. I just passed two kids in shorts and T-shirts, outside playing. I love it! I can't believe I haven't seen anyone in flip-flops today. Monday, March 9, 2015. What does it mean when. All children are gifted. Some just open their presents later than others." - -unknown. Friday, May 1, 2015. How in the world did she know. That I was having such a horrible day? The past 36 hours or so have been kinda on the crappy side. I came home from work in a really awful mood, for many reasons, the least of which was the hour I had just been stuck in traffic. I walked into my room, to change out of my work clothes, only to find a package on my bed. Hmmm.what's this? Look what I found in the box:.

All children are gifted. Some just open their presents later than others." - -unknown. Thursday, January 8, 2015. Good night, Sweet Prince. We just got home from the local animal welfare place. We needed to put our sweet Buster down this morning. I had intended to do a proper post when the time came, but our internet went out last night, so I'm posting this from my phone. I don't know if this is even going to work. This is one of my very favorite pictures of Dorky Dog. Good bye, Buster. We love you.

Tales from the School Bus. Wednesday, August 27, 2014. New School Year - Feeling Awesome. I don't know who reads my blog anymore, and if you do, thank you! If you are new, WELCOME! In other news, I finally decided on getting a full time bus route instead of bouncing from bus to bus. I still do field trips but I have a set route morning and afternoon. It's been a godsend for me given my current college schedule. It's nice to know exactly where I am going to be on a daily basis. Thanks for stopping by!

Tales from the School Bus. Thursday, July 5, 2012. Bullying - The Aftermath. After posting about the bullying incident where the bus monitor. Got bullied by a bunch of middle school students, it got me thinking. What punishment would they face for bullying. Is it enough? Would it be too strict, or not enough to make an impression. One father was even quoted as saying that his son was sufficiently embarrassed by the publicity of the event and that he felt that was "enough" of a consequence for his son.

Mel: The Positive Pessimist. My Life. My Stories. My Family. My Truth. My Blog. Sunday, August 31, 2014. Anyway, back to my summary. Obviously we spent a lot of time in the water this summer. That time was greatly increased in quality and quantity by the solar blanket we bought that combatted the cool temperatures we were frequently blessed with throughout the summer. See it in the background of nearly all of our pool pictures. Aren't there any graham crackers and bananas left? In more cute news, there w...
Almost Famous: Cookies For Santa
http://jlo-almostfamous.blogspot.com/2014/01/cookies-for-santa.html
Friday, January 3, 2014. Tradition at our house is to invite our favorite friends over and make cookies for Santa. Stephanie and I have been doing this for probably close to 10 years now. Then, when Becky and Julie had kids, we let them join in on our fun! It is really cute to see how the kids improve each year in their cookie decorating skills. I accidentally gave Scarlett a cookie so she could join in on the fun! Our cookies are ready for Santa, are yours? WHY do your kids have to be so beautiful?

Monday, May 3, 2010. I think it was John Lennon who said "Life is what happens when you're busy making other plans" or something along those lines. I can't believe that in just 2 weeks the "teenaged one" will have completed his second year away at college. Wow that sure went fast! My sweetie made the decision to return to school and get his college degree. As for me. just 7 weeks 'til summer vacation, but who's counting? Links to this post. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Thursday, February 11, 2010. Cop: Do you know why I pulled you over? Me: yes officer, because I was talking on the phone. Cop:may I have your license, registration and insurance card? A couple of days ago, while I was driving home from work I was pulled over by a police officer. Normally I am a law abiding citizen. What treacherous act was I perpetrating just blocks from my school? Talking on my cell phone. Did I mention that in my county and state this is illegal? February 14, 2010 at 12:05 AM.

Everything I Need To Know, I Learned from my Kindergarten pupils. My seven-year-old nephew, Kiko. Runs a zoo in their house. He has fishes, love birds, turtles, chickens, pigeons, dogs and eel under his care. Though this may sound like a crazy circus, it is quite amazing to see Kiko grow and learn from these animals.
