Vic Johnston missionary with International Mission Board sent the following request to I-TEC. We would like to ask you to come to Brazil and do an official electrical survey and for the installation of a good electrical system for a drug and alcohol recovery center (Centro de Restauração de Vidas) currently in the development stage. I have been waiting to see if the local electrical company here was going to do anything to improve the energy coming into the center, but I can not wait any longer.

HOPE ACADEMY - NIGERIA WEST AFRICA. After the Nigeria Survey Trip in June and July, 2011, I-TEC submitted a proposal to upgrade the electrical services at Hope Academy in Emi Woro and the primary supporting church of the school and mission, Wenatchee Free Methodist Church, Wenatchee, Washington, raised the funding for Phase I of the proposal and assembled a team of seven volunteers from their church to go to Nigeria and begin the actual work. Last year a couple from North Carolina donated 3 voltage regulators to El Sembrador. In March Gerard Row and Tommy Duckworth, two linemen who work with I-TEC, came down and helped Bill and Eddy, the electrician Bill works with, install the regulators. The regulators are now keeping the voltage at proper levels! This is a huge help to the school. Thank you to each one who pitched in to make this project a reality. Grace Mission in Haiti. Training and Conference Center. Volunteers, Norm Simons, Kerry Boura, and Jerry Zahniser, James Fowler went on a I-TEC mission trip fall of 2009 to Haiti to installed a CAT diesel generator and low voltage wiring at the conference center. The goal is for I-TEC and Messiah College. To work together to install electricity and solar power at this mission. Messiah. College students will focus on the solar installation while an I-TEC team of volunteers install the electricity.
