Reading a travel blog isn't as fun as going yourself, but it sure beats working…. Our 5-Month RTW (2011). Palolem: Goa, India. Alleppey: Kerala, India. December 2, 2012. Rather than head north from Palolem, up the coast to Margaon train station from where we’d booked our onward journey to Kochi (aka Cochin), we instead took a taxi south to meet the train at it’s first stop, mainly to give us a couple of extra hours on the beach. Karwar Train Station. Spit Free. Mice Shaped Snacks, Kochi Bound Train.
