March 15, 2018. Im so glad that yarnalong is back, but so far this year Ive not participated much. In January I joined the link up but didnt have time to look at any of the other blogs due to work commitments. I missed February yarnalong as I was on a lovely holiday to New Zealand. And Im late for March. Ho hum! Anyway I am here and even though I have been busy and trotting all over the globe, I have been busy with yarn craft. I do have a couple of newly finished projects to share so ill get to that soon!

April 06, 2017. And crafting on with Frontier Dreams. I also like to keep a project together, ie all the yarn, the working piece and a bag of notions. Laquo; Just keep writing. Block stitch blanket Friday progress ». July 06, 2015. Its done and its beautiful and I absolutely LOVE IT! Having overcome those initial first section issues. This was a relatively quick knit. The pattern is well written and explained. Near the end the rows do get veeeeeery long and I found it easier to get the 4 lace rows done in a sitting. The shawl must be blocked. There is beautiful detail on the edging bell ruffle which just finishes this piece off nicely. LOVE, LOVE, LOVE!

Thursday, 12 September 2013. Sometimes you get a quick hour to craft and I like to try and get lots done in that time. I love making cards individually but a batch make really helps when time is short. These new home cards were created with a roller stamp from stampin up. Stamping with the roller is fun but a bit tricky. I do use purpose made ruler to keep me straight. I heat embossed them and then coloured in just one house. Here is a quick how-to for a mixed media background using Dylusions Spray (i used Bubblegum pink) and a texture paste, Water colour cardstock (all available from https:/ www.shopandcrop.com.au/.
