Monday, August 25, 2014. Matt built the children a rope swing and they love to swing on it for hours. We have two big oak trees in our yard and the kids love laying on their backs imagining they can climb to the top of the tree. Harper's hair is getting so long! Sunday, September 30, 2012. This is Harper and I just about a week before she was born. I had been having contractions for about a week before I went into labor. I dismissed it as braxton-hicks since I still had about 4 weeks till my October 3rd due date. Harper Brooke Odell was born a few hours later at 4:54 PM on September 16th, 2012. She weighed 8.3lbs and was 20 inches long. My biggest baby yet and three weeks early. My first thoughts when I saw her was how happy I was that she had so much hair!

Sunday, October 26, 2014. There will definitely have to be a halloween post to follow this one. But I had to share these cute pics of the children in their church clothes. I love my children everyday but especially on Sundays when they look like this. Gav, chase me! Getting the wiggles out before church and Gavin and Harper are shooting guns at all the zombies around us. Gavin went on his first field trip with his preschool group, they went to the pumpkin patch and Harper was so excited to tag along!

Friday, September 19, 2014. It is wierd for me to have a two year old and no baby. When both Corban and Gavin were 2 I had a newborn baby but it is so fun to enjoy my two year old. I love the terrific two's! They have so much to learn, so many questions and are finally starting to express their feelings. Friday, August 2, 2013. Change is good and neccessary for growth so who am I to hold anyone back? My goal as a mom should be to raise strong, resilient, independent, confident children but it is still hard to let go and watch your oldest go to Kindergarten. Also Matt got a new job which will be moving our family back to Orange County, so I am going to take the advice I give my kids and embrace and welcome change. Time for us to grow! Virginia for the Holidays. I am so not a seasoned blogger. when I uploaded these pictures, they came out totally backwards. Oh well, I'll start with some of the fun stuff! A big reason I joined Ace in VA for the holiday's was to secure a venue for our WEDDING! We were able to tour a lot of fab options, and ultimately we decided on one of these. Will it be the sight unseen Georgetown Option? They are doing a major remodel to the space! Or another hip Georgetown option. The trip was a success in all fronts!
