It's All About Family. Our Life, In a Nutshell. I was born and raised in Minnesota. I come from a big family, 3 brothers (Matt, Mark, Mitch) and 1 sister (Michelle). Yep, that’s all M’s! I don’t think Angie and I are going to follow suit and name all of our kids with the same first letter. Anyway, we moved around a bit growing up, we even spent one school year in Colorado. First the good news, We have a new baby girl, Harper Rose Weiland came at 12:15AM on 8/23 weighing in at 7lbs1oz and measuring 19.5 inches and a HUGE head (sorry Angie) 13.5 inches! It’s now about 11:45AM and so far labor has been a fairly painless endeavor for my wife, I can’t tell is she is just being tough on the outside but really painful on the inside? I am trying to post as time allows, but I’m always available for my wife no matter what. Right now Angie is not dilating she has had no changes on that front so they started pushing pitocin about 3 hours ago but still nothing! Look at me I’m already a pro! Mike hurry...

I have learned without a shadow of a doubt that mothers set the tone of family life. The old adage is true, if mama ain’t happy, then nobody’s happy! My children were 1, 3, and 5 when I was introduced to the book To Train Up A Child. I had been a juvenile probation officer that had earned the respect of my clients and co-workers. I really enjoyed being a light for tough teens.
