Shane, Jessica and Lucas. Sunday, February 27, 2011. We gave Lucas a sled for Christmas and since we got some pretty good snow in this last storm we finally got to use it. The sledding itself was pretty uneventful. Lucas just sat there while Shane and I took turns pulling him around the backyard. I don't think he cracked a smile or anything! It was his first time and we were probably more excited then he was. :) All he wanted to do was run around with the dogs so we got him out and let him go.

Shane, Jessica and Lucas. Monday, September 19, 2011. Here's our Labor Day weekend in pictures. This year was a lot of fun! Lucas loved the Merry-go-Round, aka "Ho-sees". The second he woke up in the morning he would ask me to ride the "ho-sees". I'm pretty sure everyone got a turn (or two) to ride with him on the Merry-go-Round. He liked the other rides at the "carm-a-bul" but none as much as this! A little ditch water never hurt anybody- right? You've gotta love little boys! Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).

Shane, Jessica and Lucas. Friday, May 27, 2011. Take Me Out to the Ballgame! When Lucas was a baby and got fussy I would try to sing to him to calm him down. (Try being the key word! Anyway- there were only two songs that he would stop crying for; the first being "We are a Happy Family" and the second "Take Me Out to the Ballgame". He's been a fan of balls (any kind). But it turned out great and I think all of the kids had a good time. Here are a few pictures of the party. And seriously got spoiled!

Shane, Jessica and Lucas. Friday, June 1, 2012. Disneyland- Day 2 and 3. Lucas didn't cry but Shane said it was really dark and had loud noises around every corner and let's just say after that it took almost the rest of the morning to talk Lucas back into liking Disneyland. In fact, I was never able to talk him into going back into Toontown to take fun pics because he was scared. Oh well! And most everything we went on I was able to ride too. Yay! Shane, Jessica and Lucas. Tuesday, September 4, 2012. This year Shane and I had our 10 year class reunion. I was in charge of planning it and since I knew that I'd be ready to pop I kept it pretty simple and just did lunch at the commons. Here's a picture of almost everyone who came. Just a few of us. Tuesday, July 22, 2008. Kent and I have gone back to the good side. We are boat owners again. Now I know you are thinking how can you afford such a luxury, well this is the thing.it is a giant. 17 foot Sea Ray we named it the. And I am so excited it is like Christmas. We took it to Quail tonight for the first time. I didn't realize how much I missed the water! I must have been living the last year in denial. Not that there was ever a moment of doubt, but he is for sure a REID. She will be missed.
