Throughout my interview with this student, I noticed that his struggle with coming out pushed his other developmental struggles to the side. While I noticed that he struggled with being low-income, it often came as a result of some of the issues that were occurring during the time that he came out.

Honestly, I believe that low socioeconomic status touches every race, gender, sexuality, religion, and identity. One of my initial perceptions about this group was that they would mostly be minority races from single parent homes, which has not been the case with any of my interviews. December 6, 2014.
