During our stay at Florence, we took a day to visit Siena, which is just a little more than an hour away from the city. The bus takes to directly to Siena, while you may need to walk for a bit if you decide to take a train! GROM, I have been wanting to try it but they are always so packed with people in Florence! A day in Paris. It was a hectic day in Paris. The weather is unbelievably horrid. It was literally raining the entire day! Jingzhi and I woke up at 5am in the morning, and walked to St Pancras under the rain, was a chilly 20mins walk. Took the 7am train, we were exhausted! Didn't get good sleep at all on the previous night :(. Arrived at gare du nord at 10am Paris time! Got our Day pass and were starving! We decided to head to Laduree for breakfast. Last week, I flew to Italy with a couple of friends for the first time! I was so excited to try all the gelatos, pizzas and pastas my friends have been raving about! What an amazing view! Flew with British Airways to Milan, which takes about 2hours from London. Upon arrival, we took a cab to our accommodation and off we went hunting for food! Piazzetta Pattari 42, Milan, Italy. First meal, we dined in at Mozzarella e Basilico, a stone throw away from Duomo! I conclude that they have the best pizzas!

Friday, 5 September 2014. Nette came all the way to Amsterdam to find me! So much effort and love from her! We went to Bakers and Roasters for brunch. It was pretty good but I think Nette can make better Banana toast than them. HAHAHA. I'm not a pancake person but I really love their pancakes and their dutch pancakes. It's so good. The maple syrup is so yummy and the dutch pancake is so crispy. If you are in Amsterdam, do give it a try and be there early to avoid the crowds.
