Monday, February 27, 2012. Feeling kind of purpley. My card for today is purple. You know how some days a color just calls your name? Well, today purple called to me. I made this card based on the Simon Says Challenge. Of using three different papers. And the Unscripted Sketch #147. My card used Doodlebug paper, Bazzill cardsrock, Marvy punches, miscellaneous rhinestone, swiss dotted cuttlebug embossing folder, and a sizzix die. The Simon Says challenge. Is open until the new sketch is open on Saturday.

Saturday, March 17, 2012. I never realized how busy Spring Break could get, but I finally found the time to make a card today. It's a relatively simple card. I used the sketch from Sweet Sunday Sketch Challenge 154. And the masculine theme from My Crafty Spot. Here is my card using paper from Wild Asparagus, The Angel Company stamp, Tim Holtz distressing inks, and star brads that I've had forever and distressed with a hammer. I flipped the sketch on the side to make the card. On the Old Back Porch blog.

She actually had a meeting with me and my advisor on campus to meet. I have my schedule figured out to get all my hours in. I have done two shifts and learned so much, and done so much! Friday, August 5, 2011. Summer, so far. July came and went in a whirlwind! I did my first backpacking trip in Glacier with a group of ladies to Akokala Lake. It was super hot and buggy but it the hike was nice and mellow. One of the highlights was enjoying our boxed wine and playing Catch Phrase until our faces hurt from laughing. I took the PT students up to Numa Ridge Lookout a couple weekends ago. Another hot and buggy hike, but with a great climb and beautiful views at the top. Friday, July 8, 2011.
