I am a 911 dispatcher and this is my life. Thursday, January 27, 2011. I have spent the last two weeks of my vacation packing, loading, unloading and unpacking stuff that we have no room for. It is amazing how much crap you can accumulate in 5 years. Today is my last day of vacation and I am using it to tidy up and give our new dwelling those endearing touches that make a house a home. I love these old pictures of my children and my husband. It is hard to believe that we were really that young once.

I am a 911 dispatcher and this is my life. Saturday, September 10, 2011. To be vegan or not to be? That is the question of the day. I will be adding more fruits and veggies to my daily routine and continue to reduce my intake of meat and dairy. I will never be a vegan or a vegetarian but I see organic soy milk in my future over my cheerios and more vinaigrette dressings on my salads. Saturday, September 03, 2011. Is this thing on? Saturday, July 28, 2007. 98 Degrees in the shade. Doesn't seem so bad does it? Until you put the temperature gauge in the sun and wait awhile. In the sun that 98 shoots right up to 126 degrees. We stay in the shade. Or in the pool (which is in the shade). Or inside. Everyone we have talked to over the last 5 days has said something along the lines of "oh, the weather is really mild right now. This is so unusual. It's just not that hot". Is this thing on? Sunday, February 24, 2008. Boy vs. Pavement. We went to the dentist this morning. All the other teeth are fine and the lip is healing well. According to the xrays, the dentist said that Blaine probably would have been losing that tooth in the next 6 to 12 months. Thursday, April 28, 2005. Squatty Potties and other Adventures on the Road to Armenia. My bladder and I were about to be relieved. Or so I thought. And I went inside anyway. Folks, it was beyond foul. I have smelt barns that were better than this. It was truly horrifying. I walked back to the car and the men just assumed I had finished what I needed to do. Tentatively I approached the Armenian driver and asked about bathrooms along the way. His only advice? The bathrooms at the Marriott are much nicer.

How to Close Outlook 2013 to the System Tray. May 11, 2013. In standard form, Outlook behaves classically, where the close button (X at the top right) actually closes the program. This is ok, but many programs use that button to make the app close to the system tray. Therefore, it became a habit of mine to press that button instead of the minimize button.
