Well, i have a little new york schoolgirl :) makenzie started first grade this week. it's funny because she started on wednesday and then had thursday and friday off for rosh hashanah, so a very short first week. this next week will be a little more strange that she is in school all day everyday! In kindergarten she only went for 3 1/2 hours, so her being gone all day will be so weird! She was so excited to start and was bummed to not get to go back yet. :). Schools are quite different here!

Life in the town. Monday, August 30, 2010. Soon I will be . Twin Harbors Beach State Park). Which is on the coast of . Far in comparison to where we live. (Seattle, not Yakima ha). I will be joined by . Three pictures is maybe a little overkill but he's just so cute). Same comment also applies to my pup and yes we have taught him to wink on command). Today makenzie got out her paints to make a book. she worked so hard on it. first she drew the outline for all the different birds. then she painted them and then she wrote about each one. i didn't help her at all, she came out of her room with the finished product. so cute! She even added a cover page, an inside cover and a back page :) i did tell her she should remember to write in pencil so that when she messes up she can erase instead of scribbling. :). Cousins that should live closer. Makenzie has a cousin named aly who is only 8 months younger than her. they love each other so much and always have so much fun together. unfortunately, aly lived in texas, so we don't see them too often. :( back in july when we went out to see the family jessica took some pictures of aly and makenzie together. they are beautiful girls that actually look alot alike for cousins! I've been so annoyed with myself that i haven't blogged but i really have had nothing to blog about! Life has just been going, time flying as always. makenzie was sick and out of school for a week then went back to school for 2 days and out the rest of the week with a fever. it was sad. but we are all healthy now and hoping to stay that way!
