And my attention is divided. Friday, July 20, 2007. The Best Laid Plans. Remember how Poongin had so much fun at Horsemanship Day back in April? The day went something like this:. Out of bed kids! Time to go berry picking and then to Tonkawa". Pack lunches, gather supplies. Out of bed *now*, we're minutes from departure". Load car, put dog in back yard. It's not even early! We're supposed to be at the berry farm in one hour! Children scramble into clothes and car, Thing 2 taken straight from bed to car.

And my attention is divided. Monday, April 9, 2007. We discovered that Thing 1 has nearly reached the age of six with no memory of ever hunting or dyeing real Easter Eggs. How sad is that? When I mentioned dyeing real ones this year instead of using plastic, she thought I was teasing her. She couldn't imagine how I would be able to get candy into them and became quite hysterical at the thought that there would be *no* candy. Real ones inside where it was warm. Sunday, April 8, 2007. Sunday, December 21, 2008. Well, you need to sun if you are going to be snow blind. We rented skis for the boy. A whopping €7. Trail fees were€5. Nice. The verdict this morning was ".half boring, half ok. I want to try it again, but I want to ride those things instead." Sunday, March 1, 2009. What a stressful weekend! We finally had good weather this weekend. We got up early on Saturday to run into town to get our hairs cut (Sarah and I had appointments). Thanks to now having a car, we are able to accomplish that 35 minute trip in 12 minutes now. It is awesome. Sunday, February 1, 2009. Aaaahhhh. Good coffee. I have, however, found a workaround. There is a little brewery here called Vogelbraeu. I love their beer. They brew a few other varieties, and the quality of the ingredients makes it taste great. I don't go there very often (only a handful of times a year, maybe), but it is quite tasty.
