Our suite came with a breakfast buffet (among many other additions) that was complete with what they call here a "western" breakfast.pastries, cereal, fruit, omelette guy, etc.along with the normal Thai breakfast.fried rice, curry, noodles, and .sushi? We arrived on land and were met with a very nice double decker bus which took us 1.5 hours to another transfer stop. By 1pm we were in a minivan with 3 girls from Switzerland heading in the same direction as us. Our driver didn't speak any English. We found a nice place to stay with all the necessary amenities. It's not a vacation.It's an adventure! Tuesday, June 21, 2011. Day 13: Khao Sok. We landed at what would be our homebase for the day. A floating bamboo structure with a restaurant and very basic huts for those who opted to spend the night. We still had "1 hour" until lunch would be ready so while some took a dip in the lake full of mouth wash, I hopped in a sea kayak and paddled down one of the narrow canals of the lake. It was amazing to be completely removed from any human voice.

The sea was too rough for the boats to go out to the private island, Bon Island. We spent the majority of our day lounging at the infinity pool. I took a nice nap and read my book on a lounge chair.
