Friday, September 12, 2008. Life in the rooster's jugular (so far). On the map, China is shaped uncannily like a rooster. How apropos that Beijing, the country's political and cultural center, is geographically located in one of the most vital parts of the rooster's anatomy. When I first arrived here, my first realization was: Beijing is freaking HUGE! In both area and population. Hoo boy, it's gonna take me awhile to figure this place out. So, where exactly do I live in this behemoth of a metropolis?

Friday, September 12, 2008. Life in the rooster's jugular (so far). On the map, China is shaped uncannily like a rooster.
