Tuesday, November 3, 2009. The Start of the End. We started off by saying goodbye to our house plants and some clothes for the Thrift Store. It was surprisingly hard to say farewell to a bunch of plants. I know our friend will take good care of them and love them as much as we have! Here is Lily saying goodbye. Monday, February 1, 2010. Here are some random pictures of our life in TLF. It doesn't take much to entertain ourselves. Cade wants to make sure he gets every little bit of food. Not sure what to say about this. Does anyone know if there are child labor laws in Italy? Lily is mopping while Cade vacuums. This is the local hangout. Saturday, April 23, 2011. To say that Cade is obsessed with Superman is the understatement of the year. All day long he pretends to fly, take his glasses off (like Clark Kent) and put his hands on his hips pushing his chest out and saying "I Superman! Imagine his excitement when I bought him a Superman t-shirt and underwear. I'm pretty sure he really thinks he is superman now. What a handsome boy ready for church. Monday, October 26, 2009. One of the things I love about the Korean culture is their love of tradition. One way of the ways they show this is by celebrating the biggest holiday in Korea is called " Chusok. This is their version of the American Thanksgiving. Monday, January 31, 2011. We were able to have some fun while we went to Switzerland. Ok, a lot of fun. The kids loooooved playing in the snow. It was extremely cold but it didn't stop us from getting out and and seeing the country. Cade is sitting in the snow making snow angels so Lily decided to join him. Only Lily figured out very quickly that the snow is very cold and will indeed. Go up her jacket and shirt! We think by the look on her face that she thought hypothermia was going. To kick in any second.

Thursday, December 31, 2009. We finally had some family pictures taken before we left Korea. We had a great time taking pictures with this wonderful lady, Christa Elza. We made the mistake of going right before Cade needed to go down for a nap, so he's not too terribly happy for some of the pictures. Here are just a few:. Tuesday, December 29, 2009. Our wonderful relaxing trip now takes us to a Korean ER! That included visit, stitches, pain medicine and antibiotics! Here is the beautiful lighthouse.
