Everyday life in the eye of a Portrait Photographer. The Dreaded “Selfie”. But here’s the problem. I hate taking self portraits. Its not just that I hate the way I look or I think I’m ugly. Every time I try to take a photo of us together it doesn’t look professional. It looks crappy, like the lighting is off or the set up is off. Something is just off. Here is what made today so great, Heather genuinely wanted to get her picture taken. She gave suggestions, went into the weeds, even took her shoes off and went into the water. I hope this opens up some new opportunities for me to shoot other upcoming seniors. Today make me realize why I love photography. I really do love it. Thanks everyone let me know what you think.
