Friday, January 25, 2013. Dang, it's been a long time since I hit that. It's an outlet, to just sit down and sigh, and recount some memories. All the small stuff that we just happen to forget. The stuff that makes good stories, but you can't remember. I feel like I don't have anything to really blog about, because life has been so busy lately. Kind of just flash flooding. And I don't have an umbrella. Which means I should have TONS to write about. A milestone, an event, something big. Fast Way too fast.

Friday, February 15, 2013. It's that time of year again. Time for the obligatory birthday letter. Happy birthday sweetness! Today you turn six. SIX. I can hardly even believe it. Years go by so fast, even when the days go slowly. These birthdays seem to come faster and faster, year by year. It all happens in such a blur, then suddenly I'm tucking you in for the last time ever as a five year old. Just like that - SIX. Thursday, October 11, 2012. We've been busy lately. So, so, so busy. We knocked off one of the six weddings we are in/attending this year. I love wedding season! Max was the ring bearer. Baby tuxes are one big, crazy implosion of adorable. Most days if we get to it quick enough - it's park weather! My kids LOVE THE PARK. Almost as much as they love riding bikes. But not nearly as much as I love early morning and late night coffee, while watching them cruise the streets. We took one final lake trip.

Monday, February 28, 2011. I just started a job with an NGO that is working to 1. raise awareness of domestic minor sex trafficking in the US and 2. build shelters/ after care facilities for victims. Monday, February 14, 2011. The time has come. I can finally say that I am employed! Here is my journal from when I didn't get FOCUS:. I did not get FOCUS. Steve called earlier and told me. I initially cried but was on my way to bible study so I had to hold it in. Maybe that was a reminder to focus on God. I don't know why I cried. Tuesday, November 30, 2010. I asked my friend's mom to give me a few tips. We ended up going to the fabric store together and picking out a pattern, fabric and supplies. She walked me through all of the steps (still more to go). I am so thankful for her help. It is nice just to have someone to ask questions that I would otherwise have no idea about. I just need to sew on the side straps and them hem the sides and the bottom. And then iron it and it will be done! And for a close up of the fabric. Anyway, ...

Monday, April 11, 2011. I never thought I would fall in love. I really didn't. I was skeptical that someone would want to know me, all of me, and would be able to love me at the same time. I am not sure where that fear came from, but it was definitely there. I just never thought my deep down wish of finding someone and falling in love would come true. Monday, August 12, 2013. Lydia Jane loves my Papa and he loves her. Whenever we go visit I hear an almost constant stream of "Papa? She loves my grandpas wife Nana too but she hasn't gotten around to learning "Nana" yet. We are definitely grateful for her as well! My Papa is very much a workaholic even at 75 and in recent months she has really worked hard to get him to slow down and enjoy his family.
