It's a strange city, on Monday and Tuesday it almost seemed as though we were the only visitors. Look how empty the Grote Markt was. But on Wednesday it was busy, busy, busy. Blogging about beautiful things. Sunday, 3 February 2013. They weave gorgeous silks much of which graces out TV screens in many costume dramas and films. I adore looms and weaving (it makes me long for my college days) and especially the strong, beautiful colours of silk fabrics and yarn. Blogging about beautiful things. Saturday, 20 July 2013. The top of the Royal Festival Hall. After Alex's graduation ceremony I took some photos from the 6th floor of the Festival Hall. I'd never been up there before and in the sweltering heat it offered a lovely reprieve from the crush of bodies filling the building. It's also worth mentioning for anyone who hasn't used the lift that it's an (Martin Creed) experience not to be missed. The real thing is even better that the video suggests. Cat 1 - Syd.
