On August 9, Scott and Kellie welcomed their first child, our eighth grandchild into the world. Tanner Scott Hansen made his appearance weighing in at 7 lbs 2 oz and at a strapping height of 21 inches. Exactaly the same as his daddy Scott was when he was born. For our final 2009 summer family event we went to Maple Lake (in Payson Canyon) for a campout. The kids were able to come up on different days, but all were able to be there for at least one day together. The grandkids seemed to have the most fun - as usual,. Playing in the ashes seemed to be the favorite of the grandkids - especially the boys! And you can't beat those SMORES!

Note Sandra (Nana) had made new Tie-Die Shirts for all the Grandkids -plus, it made it real easy to spot them at the Zoo! Here the two youngest are playing Peek-A-Boo with Papa's Hat. Nathan had gathered his Pirates Fishing Pole and his Pirates Chair and was up and ready to go before 4:30 am Saturday morning for his first fishing trip with Dad and Papa. After traveling to Jordanelle Dam we hiked to where we thought would be a good fishing spot and got his pole baited and cast out and he was ready to pull them in! Leonard and Sandra Hansen.
