Why is it when you child turns 1, that people start asking you when you are going to have another? I don't like this question. I have no idea when we will want to try again or when we will even be able to, let alone if it will work. This time there will not be a money back option, so if it doesn't work, we are going to be out of money. We were lucky once, I can't see how we'll be lucky again.

Tuesday, September 8, 2009. I made it to the 2nd trimester! We had our Nuchal Scan last week and everything turned out great. We got to see our little one again and that was a treat. It was moving quite a bit and even turned upside down on us. The Down Syndrome odds are 1 in 10,000 and whatever is worse than Downs has the same odds. That was a relief. Monday, July 6, 2009. 2nd Beta = 1901. So far so good. I've told a few people, and I want. To tell more. I suppose, I'm a little fearful of it. Being bad luck. Diary of a Donor Egg IVF Girl. Thursday, April 30, 2009. Last night I found blood in my urine and it sent me into complete and total panic mode. What now? My donor is scheduled to start her stimulating meds. On Monday and I'm slated to start Estrace. Next week too. The last thing I want is blood in my urine or anything else to happen here that could delay my cycle. First thing this morning I showed up at the clinic to have my RE check me out. It's a UTI. It could damaging to embryos during transfer.

After taking 3 pregnancy tests (positive) over the course of the last 2 days, I was pretty sure I was pregnant. What I needed to see now was a beta result showing me some indication of viability. The beta was this morning. It was painless - just a simple blood draw. Around 2:30 today, the doctor called with some unexpected news. He congratulated me and said my hcg level was at. Yes, I said 500. So happy for you!
