It had disappeared for well over a year, but this year it was found and started moving! The last time I tried a Geocaching streak in was in my summer holiday so I had plenty of time and even managed to get 5 DNFs. Boy did we pick the wrong week to travel here. thunder storms, tornado warnings, flooding… here is hoping that everything calms down some so we can actually make it home on time. Its amazing the amount of time one has to do things while on holidays compared to normal everyday life. 3 days of working and i’m bushed lol. though i was able to get started on my B&B. got the inside protected with truck box liner. i know no water will seep in now from the bottom. the only way things get wet in it now is if someone lets the rain in 🙂. And it was great. the one thing we noticed was lack of geocaches around at least the outskirts of the park. i could understand park officials not wanting one inside but there are many beautiful areas around that something could have been placed. Life as an amateur Geocache/r. June 27, 2013. Started work on our B&B tonight. masked off the parts i’m not spraying with box liner. I’ve decided to spray the inside of my ammo box with box liner to help protect from water. i know the ammo case is built for that but its also older and has some surface rust. so with this extra step i’m insuring that it will keep the moisture on the outside and the TB’s dry on the inside. And i’m a bit reassured when i look at the profile of each moving them. the fact that each geocacher has more then 1k finds and has each handled a couple hundred TB’s.
