Malayang pagpapahayag ng isang malayang damdamin. Friday, February 13. The ongoing debate on whether to pass the Bangsamoro Basic Law or not and the Mamasapano encounter are breaking my heart. It is frustrating to know that after more than two decades, this country is still divided. This country is still filled with biases and distrust. It is hurting to know that what we have fought and advocated for will end up nothing in my lifetime. How can I protect my future children if people think this way?

But, two weeks and four days ago, a white kitten who seemed to be around 2 to 3 weeks old was crying on a Wednesday night along Matalino St. I picked him up. I handed them my wrapped gifts but Eithan could not resist not opening one box; so I let them opened the gifts. The joy of seeing kids open wrapped gifts is such a joy!
