Monday, 2 July 2012. I have just booked a fancy night away for me and my man to celebrate our 9th wedding anniversary. God, nine years - how did that happen? It will be the first night we have spent away from the children, on our own, EVER. (ie. since they were born, I mean - not in our whole lives ever, obviously). So I got me thinkin 'bout shoes. But I really want to! So since I've still got a penchant for orange at the moment, these are a few I've got my eye on. What do you think? Links to this post.

With the old wardrobe now moved.to the guest room, this corner was prime as a landing corner where keys, mail could be dropped off upon entry into the house. Stuff which usually lands on the dining table. I am not sure about the barstools which have been moved from the other side of the room. Tuesday, February 19, 2013. Do possums eat pumpkins? I've never had much luck with growing pumpkins. Probably because the last 2 houses we've lived at just havent had enough sun. So I was absolutely gleeful when my pumpkins started fruiting this year. I've watched them carefully as they've grown on the vine, made Mr B mow far away from them as they took over the lawn and imagined all the lovely things I could cook when they were ready. It's been a colourful few weeks.we've weathered scarlet fever (Little B), a horrible cold (me), working out the best hours for me to work (who knew it would be early starts and early finishes? Tuesday, March 20, 2012. We've had half a block of dark cooking chocolate sitting in the fridge for several weeks. If it was real chocolate it would've disappeared in a flash but none of us really fancy cooking chocolate. Funny that. Friday, March 2, 2012. March is operation house beautification month. Our house is currently (still! A shambles. In September we moved all the furniture out of our main living area so that the old ugly tiles could be removed and new timber flooring could be installed.
