http://naomiprochoiceny.blogspot.com/2010_08_01_archive.html
NAOMI Pro-Choice New York. Sunday, August 22, 2010. One of my favorite pro-choice blogs, Abortion Gang. Recently made a post regarding the common anti-choice assertion that most women who choose abortion do so out of "convenience." While to me this argument sounds absurd from the get-go, this post articulately deconstructs what arguments like this are really saying:. Do we say that being raped is an inconvenience? Absolutely not. Does anyone ever call cancer an inconvenience? It’s never selfish for...

NAOMI Pro-Choice New York. Tuesday, September 28, 2010. I've been very bad and haven't posted since I've gotten back to school. Whoops. In my defense, adjusting has been kind of nuts but I think I'm starting to get into a rhythm that I'm happy with. There was some initial relationship (now un-relationship) drama which was difficult but it also forced me to confront a lot of my own issues regarding relationships in general, namely -. 3 What I can. Never Kept Quiet

I read a blurb about this idea the other day, and it’s really stuck with me and I’m not sure why I hadn’t realized it before: using “the starving kids in Africa” as a reason for why we should appreciate what we have, or eat all the food we’re given, or whatever, is incredibly disrespectful. I support them in their life journeys, and believe in what they have to give this world. Neglect and Art →. Leave a Reply Cancel reply. Enter your comment here. A play on death and life, different shades of white, so much depth with so little color.). 3 Bathers by a River – Henri Matisse. 4 The Old Guitarist – Pablo Picasso. When I look at this painting, I can feel how he felt when he painted it. The colors and the way the man sits and the delicacy of his body. Wonderful.). 1 Dancing Girl – Paul Klee. 2 Houses at Chatou – Maurice de Vlaminck. And some are just fun.

http://naomiprochoiceny.blogspot.com/2010/09/home.html
NAOMI Pro-Choice New York. Monday, September 6, 2010. Being home has been fantastic. Probably the best at-home break I've had in a while. To be fair, I've been completely ignoring my responsibilities (cleaning, packing, etc.) and spending a lot of time sleeping, hanging out with people (Andy, Joe, Robin, Deb) and eating. I also spent a few days in Minneapolis with high school friends Joe. Have the power to make that change. Kisses and contraception,. NAOMI Pro-Choice New York. NAOMI Pro-Choice New York.

NAOMI Pro-Choice New York. Thursday, September 30, 2010. Asher Brown was brutally bullied by his classmates. At a middle school in the Cy-Fair Independent School District—he was subjected to constant verbal and physical assault—and not one of his tormenters were ever punished, no one was suspended, no one was expelled. Asher Brown, in despair, took his own life. Tyler Clementi, a gay freshman at Rutgers University, has taken his life by jumping off of the George Washington Bridge last week. It's really h...
