As a girl I often found myself inspired from the world around me and from the people I knew to do things and to create new stories. Most of all however, to challenge others and myself in order to change the world around me to the better. In the past few years this inspiration has ceased to flow from humanity, and instead from the small things that God tweaks each day that just remind me, that he's there.

Art 2 Final Exam. Tuesday, June 5, 2012. I didn't start out Christian. Neither did the twelve disciples, my pastor, or actually any human being. We all started out the same. An infant, sinful by nature, curious and tempted by the world. Yet, though it may not seem like it, some of us, still are an infant. Sure, now we know how to count, multiply, divide. Maybe you can even do calculus! Yet, at heart, even 600 year olds can be no different than a baby. Billy still cries, but not as much.

Art 2 Final Exam. Thursday, March 27, 2014. Queen Jane of the Blonds. Links to this post. Labels: Art 1 (9th Grade 2014). Something Old, Something New, Something Borrowed, Something Blue. All of that, is describes the oh-too familiar box from the hit british TV show: Doctor Who. In this project, that 50 year running TV show was my inspiration. Art 2 Final Exam. Art 2 Final Exam. On the contrast, my first peice was likely my least sucessful. I loathed the ending feel of the peice, which contrasted so far from my original omaginig. Art 2 Final Exam. Wednesday, November 5, 2014. Recently we began to explore three mediums in art class, these being colored pencils, chalk, and oil pastels. Honestly, I adpre all three of these mediums, whith colored pencil being my far favorite. The detail and control one can muster via belending and layers is wonderful. With chalk, one has to be careful as to distrbute the buildup and layer gently. The chalk often gets all over ones hands and well, everything. Links to this post.

Art 2 Final Exam. Thursday, October 9, 2014. First off, I must honestly say how pleased I am with how this project turned out. I was ecstatic about the photo when I originally took it, and then I became enthralled in happiness when I discovered that for this project I would be researching a wonderful artist such as Vincent Van Gogh, and imitating his style for my own original work! The Wash, Burnt Seina and a LOT of water. A Few sketches for the basic idea. My Baby :3 The Final Piece: Sunny Daze.

Art 2 Final Exam. Tuesday, January 5, 2016. Believe it or not, no brushes were used in the making of the above painting. Inspired by the works of Iris Scott, I set out to challenge myself and create a piece with finger painting. As I created this peice, there was no larger lesson for me to learn other than that fingerpainting may be child's play, but it also takes a large amount of practice to properly accomplish.
