With the neck glued in one only has to do a few finishing touches to finalize the entire viola. I had to shape the nut you can see sticking up like a sore thumb in the picture above, finish the button and neck root, and prep the entire surface for ground. And a few shots of the old girl during varnishing. When the varnish was done I reattached the fingerboard.
