Sunday, June 7, 2009. Gorbanzo Beans 1 cup or 1 can. Tamarind juice 1/4 cup. Garam masala 1 tsp. Bay leaf 2 leaves. Lemon juice 1 Tbs. Corriander/Cilantro leaves to garnish. Make to Paste :. Chilli powder - As per your spice level. Heat oil in a pan and add bay leaves . Add the paste. Allow it to cook for few minutes. Handful of finely chopped cilantro. 1/2 tsp cumin powder. 1tsp finely chopped ginger and garlic. 1/2 tsp powdered fennel seeds. 2-3 finely chopped green chilly. 10 Ritz crackers or Monaco salt biscuits crushed and powdered (I used these since I was out of bread crumbs). Friday, February 10, 2012. Sabudhana vadai (Sago patties). 1 Potato - grated. 2 tsp Lemon juice. 2 tsp Rice flour. 2 tbsp Roasted Peanut. 1/2 inch finely chopped Ginger. 1/2 tsp Cumin seeds. Oil for deep frying. Soak Sabudaba for 4 hours. Then drain the water and set it aside. Squeeze excess water from grated potato combine with well with the sabudhana. Mix the rest of the ingredients too. Oil your hands, take some of this mixture and flatten them and make patties. Deep fry in oil! 2 Large boiled Potatoes.
